Cancellation and refunds

This page explains cancellation rights, service problems and the model wording for sending a cancellation notice for a complimentary order.

Dated 2 September 2026 · Version 2

Ed in Park City, LLC offers one-off digital services through Rules for You when they are shown as available on the refusal-review page. The order process states that the refusal review costs £0, requests no card details and explains when work starts and where a notice can be sent.

Legal entity
Ed in Park City, LLC, a limited liability company organised in Utah, United States.

Three different routes

  • Statutory cancellation concerns a consumer's right to change their mind within an applicable cancellation period.
  • Failure or error reports concern a service that did not run or was not supplied as agreed. No payment was made, so no refund is due.
  • A promotional refund promise is a separate offer and must have complete eligibility, evidence, timing and payment terms.

A promotional promise must not be used to reduce a statutory right. No promotional refund promise forms part of an order unless it is separately presented and accepted with complete terms.

Consumer cancellation information

UK distance-contract rules commonly provide a 14-day cancellation period for consumer services. Different consequences can apply when a consumer expressly asks for a service to start during that period, when a service has been fully performed, or when digital content begins after express consent and acknowledgement. The order information explains how those rules apply to the service being ordered.

The complimentary order process:

  1. show the seller's legal name, geographic address, monitored contact details, service description, total price and delivery timing before the order;
  2. collect any required express request for early performance, consent to digital supply and acknowledgement of the consequence through clear, unticked choices;
  3. make the final order control state clearly that the total is £0 and no payment or card details are required;
  4. send the contract and any consent or acknowledgement in a durable confirmation; and
  5. provide a monitored electronic and postal cancellation route, a usable model form and the applicable refund timing.
