Opening your refusal review…
Your route forward after refusal
Start with the council’s exact reasons. We find appeal decisions with similar proposals and reasoning, show how they were decided, and help you see the factual differences before choosing what to do next.
Explore appeal evidence for freeFrom refusal to a way forward
Start from the council’s exact reasons, then compare relevant allowed and dismissed appeals using the public research tools.
Compare the Inspector’s reasoning and the important factual differences before deciding whether to appeal, amend or gather more evidence.
If you choose to appeal, move from the evidence into prepared appeal documents or seek defined professional help.
If you need professional help
Rules for You does not currently offer appeal-document preparation. If you need advice, representation, technical evidence or document drafting, check the provider’s qualifications, scope, fees and responsibility for deadlines before instructing them.
Evidence you can inspect
Each result pairs your refusal wording with a source-located Inspector passage and the appeal proposal. You can inspect the allowed and dismissed decisions for yourself instead of relying on a headline or a score.
Before sign-in, your encrypted refusal remains claimable for up to 24 hours and is removed by the next scheduled cleanup if you do not claim it. When you set up your workspace, it is attached to that private planning record. It is never published in the appeals database or placed in a search URL.
Similar decisions are evidence to examine, not a prediction that another appeal will have the same outcome.
